You may or may not have noticed I've been quiet lately.
Even before starting up the other blog with Jen, and getting things moving in the shop for the new year, I had the feeling that I was getting tapped out. It's easy enough to come up with an outfit but finding the words to say is honestly a pain in the ass. I felt like I was writing too little and it made me feel pretentious. Also I was spreading myself out too much online and it wasn't giving me any results.
So I've been taking a break. It's been awesome. I'm realizing I dont have to get a picture of every outfit, especially if it's not "good", and that even if I love it I dont have to run for my camera. I'm re-setting my thought processes. I'm also planning on getting rid of a lot of clothes. I'm keeping a list of all of my fashion related purchases this year and I'm happy that so far I can count them on one hand. I've been busy enjoying the weather as it gets nicer, and I've been getting some work done getting ready for spring shows and completing custom orders. I can't say that I'll be staying away from this little corner of mine forever, but I also dont know when I'll be back. If you dont mind hanging out, then cheers- I'll buy you a beer someday.
